About Communicate 2 Connect Baltimore
Welcome!
Communicate 2 Connect Baltimore is a private, speech-language therapy practice. We specialize in earty intervention, articulation, social skills, tongue thrust and feeding. Our mission is to provide our clients with skills to be successful communicators!
Meet Alicia
Alicia Barger holds a Masters of Science degree from Loyola University Maryland, the Certificate of Clinical Competence of the American Speech-
Language-Hearing Association (ASHA), and Maryland State Licensure. She is also PROMPT trained. She has developed a Myofunctional “Tongue Thrust” program (The SPOTT Program) for children and adults.
In addition to private practice, Alicia was a clinical faculty member at Loyola
University Maryland for 13 years (2011-2024), and received a promotion to associate professor in the spring of 2024.
Alicia's previous experience includes working as an SLP at The Maryland School for the Blind and in Baltimore City Public Schools.
She has been practicing speech-language pathology for 25 years.
Alicia lives in Baltimore with her husband, Michael and daughter, Maggie.
